Do they sell like chair extenders anywhere? We just bought a dining room set that has 8 chairs, but only have it set up for 6 right now. I'd like to be able to use the two extra chairs for our bar, but they are currently too short. Right now they are counter height, but I'd like to make them bar height. Any ideas that won't look too tacky? I know they sell extenders to raise your bed height, so I was curious if they had something like that for chairs... Thanks!

I went out to a fancy restaurant yesterday but it was not extremely fancy. And I brought my one year old and they told me they didn't have a high chair . So I said can I bring my stroller and they said no. Finally we got the manager and he said it was fine to bring a stroller. I mean is that legal? I have been to many fancier restaurants and they even have high chairs!!!

Does anyone have any recommendations? I've looked at Graco, Peg Perego and chicco so far. We have more of a contemporary vibe so we're looking for something cool but great for baby and an all-around fabulous high chair. My baby is 5 months old. We need some support as well.

I've always thought I'd go the way of the free standing high chairs but see that a lot of people are getting the kind that straps to their chairs. Which kind do you have and does it really make a difference? I don't plan on taking the high chairs outside the house.

Hi, I'm having twin girls, my 1st pregnancy, due in May. What is better and safer for babies, high chairs or booster seats? My baby shower is coming up soon and some people have asked about buying booster seats, but we have no idea - we thought high chairs were better for babies. Anyone know? Thank you!
