The swing and the rockers are about seven years old. They are still in good shape, the wood has just kind of darkened. When they were brand new, I used Thompson's Water Sealer with color in it. It's held up very well but I want them to have a pretty golden brown oak color. How should I go about doing this? I've heard that you can spray Easy Off on the wood furniture on a hot day and that the varnish would peel off that way but that sounds kind of bad. I'd like to know of an easy way to redo the porch furniture. I'm just wondering if I will have to sand them down and stain and polyurethane them or if I can skip some of the sanding? How complicated is this job going to be for me?

I'm a high school teacher and will be teaching a reading intervention class in which I will need comfortable chairs for the kids to sit in while they read silently and independently. Does anbody have any ideas for furniture (besides beanbags) or links to sites that have a good selection of furniture? Thanks!

I am looking for 24 chairs for a 6 yr olds birthday party, where might I find a site that would have some and could ship fairly quick or whats the cheapest seating option for this many chairs? any other advice besides buying 24 chairs i prob wont use again? thanks in advance

Hi, we need 2 (or more) kids chairs, either wood or hard plastic to match a table that we have. They could be pritty much any colour. The table is nice, limy green colour (this colour would be perfect),but it has numbers and letters in various colours (red, blue, white). If anyone could help would be well appreciated.

I have 4 of them. They are almost black in spots (may be mold). I've heard a pressure washer will take off the paint. I would rather not use bleach if possible.

It look like it's lacquer or coating is mostly worn off, down to the bare wood.

The peices all looked like a flower. the chair had the middle of the flower to sit on with pink petals hanging off i believe with green leaves as well, and brown branch-like legs. The table & lamp were also the same flowery theme with (for the lamp) looked like a desk lamp & the bulb being the "bulb" of a flower. the table (or ottoman) was pink on the top with green leaf-like petals, and brown branch-like legs as well. i know the box that it came in was yellow, with a young girl dressed in a fairy costume sitting in the chair with the lamp & table/ottoman next to her. I would really love this for my daughter, but i need the name/brand so i can order it online as wal-mart discontinued the item. Thanks

It's hanging in the living room on the back wall. It has a pink chair in it and a white table with a vase of flowers on it. I think it was by Matisse. I had the name at one point but can't remember. Want to buy a print. Help!!

So I'm buying a new house and I'm going to start fresh,so I need EVERYTHING,but for now I want to concentrate on the Bedroom and the Living room.(Bedroom for married couple not kids/teens) I saw Ikea but i don't like seeing pieces of furniture(only in real life) I want pictures to show my Husband the ideas I have in mind and to get more ideas of colors and stuff.
