how do I stop my wooden rocking chair from squeaking?
Whenever I try and rock my baby to sleep, the squeaking keeps her occupied and doesn't let her sleep... any suggestions for stopping the squeak?!

Use baby powder in all the places where the wood goes into other pieces of wood! Also workd great on food floors that squeak
rub olive oil on it
try a little 3in1 oil.the wood is drying out and it will squeek off and on as it gets older.
i think the chair may not be able to take your and the child's weight. try not to sit on the chair with the little baby
plain ole wd40
re-glue the joints where the legs enter the rockerblades
Stuff basic soap into the cracks and crevices, or like someone said, use WD40 :)
there is a product called wood swell, or some thing like that, it expands the wood in joints that are pressed, not glued. any woodworking, or hobbie specialty shop, or lowe's
oil the joints
